JOIN LEXINGTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Lexington Historical Society is an energetic group of people who are interested in Lexington’s history and heritage and are enthusiastic about presenting it to the public. We give tours of our fascinating historic sites where the events of the early days of the American Revolution unfolded. Visitors will walk in the steps of John Hancock, Sam Adams, Paul Revere and George Washington! The Society provides programming year-round for all ages – lectures and book groups for adults, educational programs for school groups, a summer camp, and lots of fun fundraising events. We pride ourselves on embracing the growing diversity of Lexington through collaborative programs. The Society has extensive collections from throughout three hundred years of Lexington history which we display in engaging exhibits in many venues throughout our community.
Why Membership Matters
Our members provide important support for the preservation of Lexington’s historic sites and collections and the Society’s year-round programming for the community. Members often volunteer at programs and events, in the historic houses, or serve on committees, thereby deepening their relationship with the Society.
Members also receive a number of benefits including free admission to the historic houses, discounts on museum shop purchases, research privileges at the Society’s archives, discounts on fee-based programs and a subscription to the Society’s newsletter.
