Muzzey Civil War Scrapbook - 1861-1865

Loring Muzzey was a lifelong Lexington resident.  The scrapbook is his collection of one-of-a-kind photographs, drawings, and personal accounts of his Civil War service between 1861 and 1865.  

Treatment received: Restoration and digitization.

Conservation completed by the New England Document Conservation Center (NEDCC) in Andover, MA, with help from a grant from the Massachusetts Sesquicentennial Commission.

Total Cost to Conserve: $21,000
