Lexington Militia Captain John Parker signed this receipt, dated March 14, 1775, acknowledging the acceptance of the drums from Lexington’s Selectmen “for the use of the Military Company.”
 
Treatment received: Cleaning, deacidification, repair, encapsulation, digitization.

Conservation completed by the Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC) in Andover, MA.
