Accessibility

Lexington History Museums strives to make our museums accessible to as many people as possible within the parameters of our historic buildings. All of the structures we steward have some manner of accessibility, with the exception of the Old Belfry, which is located up a steep, rocky slope. Please exercise caution when visiting.

Each of our buildings is unique, and further information is available in the drop-down menus below. If you have any questions about your visit and how we can accommodate your needs, please contact the office at office@lexingtonhistory.org or 781-862-1703.

Sign Language Tours

We are pleased to offer pre-recorded tours in American Sign Language at Buckman Tavern, Munroe Tavern, and the Hancock-Clarke House. Guests may request an iPad at the front desk, or you may view the tour from your phone using this page or a QR code. These tours also include narration and captions. Thank you to LexMedia, hearing interpreter Joan Wattman, and Certified Deaf Interpreter Randee Pascall-Speights for helping us make this a reality!
