Rentals

The Lexington Depot is available for evening rentals. Many details about renting the space have recently changed, and rental parameters and rates are subject to change. Please review the details and fill out a rental inquiry form below to learn more.

 Venue Details

    • Weeknight rentals may begin setting up as early as 4:30pm, and must be cleaned up by 11pm.

    • Weekend rentals may begin setting up as early as 4:30pm, and must be cleaned up by midnight.

    • Renters are responsible for their own set-up and clean-up.

    • Lexington History Museums staff will be present for the duration of the rental.

    • The Depot is a non-smoking facility. Open flames of any type, including candles and sterno, are prohibited.

    • ALL alcohol must be served by an insured bartender who provides proof of liquor liability insurance.

    • The rental space is inside only. No furniture may be set up outside.

    • Capacity limits for 2025 are still being determined. At this time, the estimated maximum capacity will be 70 individuals.

    • Dimensions of Depot interior: 64’ x 24’ wide

    • 56 chairs

    • 6 folding 8’ tables

    • Lectern

    • Sound system with four wall-mounted speakers

    • Ceiling-mounted projector and screen

    • Microphone

    • WiFi

    • HDMI cable and adapters

    Renters must provide their own computer or input device.

    • Convection oven

    • Refrigerator/freezer

    • Microwave

    • 2 hot plates

    • Trash bags, barrels, and cleaning supplies

    Linens, dishware, flatware, serving utensils, platters, and coffee urns are NOT provided.
